Badger Hockey On January 25th, 21 Holmen FFA members attended the Wisconsin Badger Hockey game. On the way there we had a tour of an aquaponics business. We saw how they used the fish and green house hand in hand to benefit each other. Then we arrived at the UW-Madison campus for a pep rally. Before the pep rally we went to Babcock for some great tasting ice cream. At the pep rally we watched the Badger band perform, met Buckey, and played a trivia game. After that we went to the hockey game. The Badgers won 5-2. Thank you to the UW-Madison Collegiate FFA for having this event for us. |

Food For America
| On May 7th and 10th many 4th graders from Onalaska, LaCrosse, and Holmen schools went to 3 different farms and learned where there food came from. The photo above shows the milking station at Mr. Anderson's farm. Kids also learned where there eggs come from and also products like wool. Thank you so much to the farmers for letting us use your farm and the schools for attending. |
